Happy 42nd Birthday E, though youll always be 28 to me.
Its that time of year again when we all remember that night so vividly. The knock on the door, the police taking me to the hospital, the china tea cup room. I knew then it was bad, only sad people come away from the china tea cup room. Them long hours at the hospital, sitting with you, waiting for some sign of life. Was you trying to tell us something when we lay your Beck on top of you and all the alarms went off? That gave us hope, it really did, but it wasnt to be.
We had to accept that you needed to go. One day you was celebrating your 28th Birthday with Andy, 4 days later was the crash and 3 days later we were all devastated and mourning your death.What a week eh lad!
Anyway, Happy Birthday hun. Hope youre having a bloody good birthday up there with all the other angels.

the rain fell slow on all the roofs of uncertainty,i thought of you an all the years of sadness fell away from me,but did you know 'E' i never thought you would loose that light in your eyes.i feel like a lost soul swimming in a fish bowl year after year goin over the same old ground having found the same old fear 'wish you were here' and when are band starts playing a differnt tune ill see you on the dark side of the moon.

Hi Ian, I will never forget you and the short times we spent together supping ale and solving the problems of the world. I went to Manchester Arena last year to watch Roger Waters, boy was the music loud and I am sure you were there watching the giant inflatable pig in the sky.
